The Maha Sangha was attacked at the Sirikotha premises recently by UNPers when members of the Maha Sangha went to meet the UNP hierarchy. Accepting their mistake, Colombo district UNP MP Ravi Karunanayake and UNP national organiser Daya Gamage asked for forgiveness from the clergy at a protest organised by the clergy near Sirikotha yesterday.
